Have a time of fellowship after the morning worship and keep one adult SS class for the seniors. Then move the rest of the SS to Wednesday evening. Though the name SS is normally not used as much as it use to be, the concept is still employed in most churchs. Different names I have heard for SS include Community Study Groups, Bible Study, Discipleship Training, Pastor's Study, Fellowship Study, etc.

Trends vary upon congregations. I have heard of some church having 3 SSs and 2 church sevices on Sundays, community groups throughout the week, and Tues.-Wed. Bible studies at the church.
