I have a question that I think relates.
My wife and I have only seen one movie in a theatre since Dances with Wolves. (That should be enough to help you carbon-date me, since that came out in 1990). The one movie we have seen since then was Jonah, the Veggie Tales movie (since we have accumulated a couple of attachments since 1990).
There are two reasons we haven't seen movies. First, when faced with an evening together alone, the last thing we want to do is go somewhere that we can't look at or talk to each other. Second, we really havn't found very much that we believe we ought to watch. Whence comes the question. Given the content of the vast majority of what passes for entertainment in these post-modern times, how does one conclude that going to most of this isn't contrary to the teachings of Scripture? Nothing personal, but 'it was a great movie except for the sex, breasts and orgasm
What do you think?
