I guess I would ask these people what Bible they are reading :-) No seriously, not only did God threaten Moses, but consider Hebrews 4, 1 Corinthians 10 and Revelation 2-3. Oh ya, the Lord's supper and the Corintians, Acts and the husband and wife dropping over dead, etc., etc. Of course, the anger for his sheep is different. He disciplines us. He is faithful to keep us from becoming condemned, falling away totally. But still, the Lord is certainly grieved by our sin and sure seems to become angry when we persist. But again, it is Fatherly displeasure.
