Below is something I found on Catholic Encyclopedia. As per my topics I have recently posted on, should sleep SDA theology
has Jesus either asleep while in the grave, or that it was His divinity that survived the cross while His Humanity slept. IOW either of them does violence to
the incarnation in my mind.
My question........Would either of these doctrines be considered an "official heresy"?
"Fourth General Council of the Church defined that Jesus Christ remained, after the Incarnation, "perfect in Divinity and perfect in humanity . . . consubstantial with the Father according to His Divinity, consubstantial with us according to His humanity . . . one and the same Christ, the Son, the Lord, the Only begotten, to be acknowledged in two natures not intermingled, not changed, not divisible, not separable"
I assume after the Incarnation includes after the cross and before the resurrection.
